Many people experiencing eating disorders, binge eating, or body image distress may have developed rigidity or have neurodivergent or brains that process food, routine, and emotions differently. This includes those living with ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), which often involves sensory sensitivities, a fear of certain food consequences, or a naturally low interest in eating.
My approach integrates personalised and collaborative psychotherapy and nutrition support. My aim is to provide a considered and exceptional standard of care in guiding you to begin taking doable steps toward change.

Clinical Nutrition
At the Feel Better Practice, we value the influence diet has on your mental state and physical health.
We believe the mind and the body are intimately intertwined.
For this reason, we offer clinical nutrition consultations and nutrition management. Nutrition is available as a standalone service or can be used in collaboration with therapy when health factors are influencing your mental, emotional, or physical wellbeing. This integrated approach recognises that sustainable change requires both mind and body support.
Our tailored approach to nutrition supports your specific psychological or health goals. This can assist the therapeutic process when addressing eating disorder recovery, disordered eating, binge eating, or emotional eating.
Nutrition consultations and management can improve your relationship with food and reduce food-related anxiety. It further supports mood, energy levels, performance, and metabolic health.
All nutrition services are offered via Telehealth.

My name is Hope. I am a counsellor and psychotherapist with a background in clinical nutrition. I support adults, teenagers, and young people in the Inner West of Sydney with a range of mental and physical health concerns.
At the Feel Better Practice, I offer a truly integrated model of support, bringing together therapy and clinical nutrition. This approach is designed to help you feel better both emotionally and physically. I provide evidence-based therapeutic care and personalised nutrition consultations through a neurodivergent-affirming and trauma-informed lens, specifically tailored to you.
I specialise in disordered eating, eating disorders, and food-related anxiety, with the belief that eating concerns are rarely about food alone. I bring a flexible, gentle, and motivated approach, driven by best practice to help you reach your goals.
